Abstrak

Pariwisata alam dan budaya merupakan salah satu daya tarik Indonesia di mata wisatawan. Semakin bertambahnya daerah yang mempromosikan destinasi pariwisata baru melalui media sosial, semakin memicu daerah lain untuk mengeksplorasi potensi wisata yang dimiliki. Setiap budaya di Indonesia memiliki ciri khas dan keunikan ornamen yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam merancang aplikasi. Namun, selain potensi, terdapat konstrain yang menjadi penghambat, yaitu keamanan. Dari latar belakang tersebut, dirumuskan tiga isu utama yaitu pariwisata rintisan, kearifan budaya, dan faktor keamanan. Ketiga isu tersebut menjadi bahan diskusi dalam mengembangkan desain interaksi. Beberapa stakeholder dilibatkan dalam proses pengembangan aplikasi promosi pariwisata. User experience (UX) digunakan sebagai pendekatan dalam mengembangkan aplikasi pada penelitian ini. Salah satu fase, yaitu riset pengguna sangat relevan dengan tujuan mempromosikan destinasi wisata, di mana salah satu fase mengharuskan observasi mendalam kondisi di lapangan. Pada penelitian ini, tiga studi kasus dipilih, yaitu Kabupaten Pacitan, Kabupaten Semarang, dan Pulau Lombok. Hasil dari penelitian berupa rancangan desain interaksi yang bertujuan mengatasi isu di atas. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan UX, proses pengembangan aplikasi diharapkan dapat memenuhi harapan pengguna dan menghasilkan usabilitas yang baik.
